Privacy Policy

What personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and retain it, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

Contact and enquiry details you submit through our forms: name, business name, email address, phone number, service interest, budget range, timeline and project description, plus any file you choose to upload.

Order and billing details where you purchase a fixed-price service: billing name, address, email and the order record. Payment card details are entered directly with our payment processor and are not stored on our systems.

Technical information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and referring page, collected through server logs and, if you allow analytics cookies, through analytics tools.

Why we collect it

To respond to enquiries and prepare quotations; to deliver, support and invoice for services; to maintain records required for tax and accounting; to keep the site secure and functioning; and, where permitted, to send service-related communications. We collect only information reasonably necessary for these purposes.

Legal bases and consent

Where consent is required — for example optional analytics cookies or marketing email — we ask for it and you can withdraw it at any time. Other processing is carried out to perform a contract with you, to meet legal obligations, or for our legitimate interest in operating the business.

Sharing with service providers

We share information with providers who help us operate: website and application hosting, email delivery, payment processing, analytics, and accounting. Providers are given only the information needed for their function and are expected to protect it. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies keep the site working. Optional analytics cookies help us understand site use and are set only if you accept them. See our Cookie Policy for details and how to change your choice.

Retention

Enquiry records are kept while a prospective engagement is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Contract, order and invoice records are kept for the period required by tax and accounting rules. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.

Security

We apply safeguards appropriate to the information we handle, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), restricted access on a need-to-know basis, authentication controls for administrative systems, credential storage outside source code, and periodic review of access. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we do not claim certification we have not obtained.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to request correction or deletion, to opt out of certain processing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Florida and other state privacy laws may apply. Requests can be sent to info@solidcoredevices.com and we will verify your identity before responding.

Children

Our services are directed to businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as our services or practices change; the revised date will appear on this page.
